After a LONG year of waiting, it is FINALLY here again.
Christmas Eve!
We were excited to receive a special early morning delivery! A box of Lucky charms without the cereal- just marshmallows! The Gillespies know how we like our cereal! Tadpole went and grabbed a bottle of Fanta to pour over our breakfast.
After washing down our breakfast of champions, we dropped off a couple of fruit baskets and helped some friend's who are currently incapacitated clean their house. It helped us burn off some energy and pass the LONG day.
Jaws passed out just as things started to get interesting.
No worries- we woke him up so he wouldn't miss out on any of the fun!
Our buddies the Stones came over to share a Christmas Eve feast.
We dined on Pops' Turkey dinner.
We also made some cookies for our late night visitor.
Stone kid #4 was scheduled to make her grand appearance on Christmas day.
We were glad that she held off so we could have a traditional dinner together again this year!
Hillary is the most confident and competent baker I know. She always selects something new, exotic and delicious for Christmas Eve dinner.
This year- chocolate baklava!
It was amazing!
The kids were excited to open their gifts to each other and their Christmas Jammies!
There was only one last thing to do before we sent the children off to bed for their most miserable night of their year.... the Christmas Eve jammy pic.
I told Little Chief that we would sit there taking pics all night until I got a smile.
