Snow Ball Fight!

The best part of my "office" window is that it looks out onto the back patio and sometimes there is a pretty good show out there. Tonight was a winner! I got front row viewing of the family snow ball fight with the safety of a sheet of glass to protect me from their nasty dispositions.

 

The Purpose of Life- Tad Edition

All he ever wants to do is be a DM.

When he is not being a DM, he is preparing to be a DM by building models, designing figurines, reading D&D play books and planning his quests.

Thank heavens for Discord and the internet so he can live his best life, even during the Pandemic.

President's Day Tribute to Ronald Reagan

We like to celebrate President's Day by selecting a cookie recipe from one of our nation's Presidents and making it. This year's pick was chosen by Little Chief, and it didn't disappoint: Nancy Reagan's Chocolate Raspberry Vienna Bars. 

They were scrumptious, and a definite addition to the Tidepool Toad rotation.

Also, Abizella cranked out another party dress and be-dazzled her red Valentine's Dress! We need parties to go to people!

My Extra Funny Valentines

This year we did something extra specially special for Valentine's Day. 

Each of the kids told their version of the "Great Lasagna Engagement" story, which is an origins story for our family. It was a test. But it ended up being more like a game of Telephone.

It put us all in a particularly goofy mood!

 

My Funny Valentines

We enjoyed a traditional Valentine's feast of Pops' Lasgana and chocolate dipped strawberries, shared with Hyrum and Joseph who are "home alone" this week. 

This also marks the final day of daily Valentines in our mailboxes and packages delivered by Cupid!

Abizella took the opportunity to make a Valentines Day dress too, with the assistance of "Debra", her faithful dress form. It was a splendid holiday.
