Guess Who's Getting Hitched?

Little Missy!
Sadly, most of us can't be there for her happy day in October.
We decided to make up for it by throwing her a wedding shower while we were all in town.
Never thought I would see Little Missy get so excited over kitchen gear!
I was super happy to have an event to bring out some of my favs! Aunt Zella, Cousin Suzi and Aunt Diane.
I really enjoyed reconnecting with them!
And also Cousins Elizabeth and Amanda! I wish I had more time while we were in town to hang out with the cousins!
It was fun to be part of the Mother's lounge...
Even if my little guy was sleeping!

Here is part of the party line-up!

And the Sister's who threw the party!
Special thanks to Brother B who served as the official photographer of the event.
He paid himself by taking the liberty of leaving me some nice selfies.

Hill Air Force Base. Finally.

It is definitely on the list every year.
There are so many cool things to do in Utah, somehow it hasn't surfaced to the top. But Superkid would stand for it no longer. We had to go. And we took our own personal Hill Air Force expert, Uncle Brian.

Obviously Superkid is in his version of heaven.
The other boys are catching the fever!

We'll be back!

The Best Museum Ever.

We love our Natural History. We are explorers at heart.
Searching for  bones.
Digging up bones.
Constructing tough buildings and letting earthquakes thunder below.
Checking out the family tree.
Where else do kids leap with joy after assembling animal cells?
Wore this crowd out!
Which is okay, because it gave us time for a squeeze.
No matter what wonders and thrills the museum has to offer, one thing we can all agree on is the gift shop is the best part!
And another thing we can agree on is Spaghetti, at the Factory!
Thank-you for the super fun day Grandma and Grandpa!

Millcreek Wienies

Guys and Dolls
Cousins to to dance with- like Indians going to war
How about lining up these goofs for a picture shoot?
 Gotta be crazy, right?
And how about the 2013 crop?
4 out of the 5 have been harvested, just waiting for cousin Jensen to make his appearance.
We actually did a little wienie roasting too!
Nothing beats the snap of a canyon roasted dog!
Gotta pass it down to the rising generation.
And Abizella got to meet one of the great Zellas in the family!
We should do this every night.

The Fun Rages On

On to Raging Waters!... at least that is what they called it back in my day. Abizella agrees, Raging Waters is a much better name than 7 Peaks. The kids were major fans.
This is now easily one of our Utah favs.
I had a great time too, snuggling the littles.
In fact, I spent a good chunk of the day rolling around with these love chunks.

We had to come back a second time with Uncle James, Cousin Nick, Aunt Melissa and Cousin B.
Uncle James even got Superkid to conquer old Shotgun falls. You know, the water slide that falls precipitously and then ends with a 9 foot drop into a pool of ice water. I am still in utter disbelief that he did it, but Uncle James reminded me that Superkid is a Phrog and thus prescribes to to the family motto, "It is better to die than to look bad." Uncle James said that he did it without hesitating. Way to save face Superkid! What I wouldn't give to be down at the bottom with a camera!

Not too many pics from the big slides but a couple of  shots from the lazy river.

Silver Lake Stroll

We just couldn't waste a second of Utah time.
First day in, we had to connect to our mountains and our family.
So after the swim party, we re-convened at Silver Lake for a stroll.
It was fun to be with these wild and crazy kids. Uncle Steve and Co. were in town from Indiana.
It was fun to be among the legions of Missys too!
The best name for the best of ladies.
The little Toads turned billy goat and started scaling rocks.
It's like coming home. It is coming home.
Doesn't he look like he belongs here?
Can't spend enough time with these Bros.
Keep the fun rolling in!

Octopus Birthday Party

We jumped full swing into the fun.
K-Man and Tuzie had an Octopus Birthday party!
Aunt Jenny makes the best cupcakes!
While we have half the limbs as our octopus friends, we did our best to splash, swim and kick!
What a great way to get re-acquainted with our Phrogbottom family!
Last time we saw Little B, he was smaller than Jaws!
It was great to see Uncle B and Aunt Melissa too!
Uncle Steve came all the way from Carmel, IN to introduce us to his baby Tessa. What a sweet bathing beauty!
Abz was happy to see, that while the Phrogbottoms are light on ladies, at least our cousin's kids are girls!
And we met our newest cousin, at one month old, Baby Beaker!
And of course, everyone was happy to see how much our little Jaws has grown!
Nothing like a Phrogbottom swim party!
