Peanuts Thanksgiving

Every year the kids say they want to do a Peanut's Thanksgiving Dinner and every year I laugh them off. But not this year! I reasoned it is a Thanksgiving dinner that they will actually eat. And even better, just like the Peanuts gang, the kids were in charge of the entire feast.

Abizella folded the napkins and set the table...

 

Jaws was in charge of the jelly beans...

Tadpole was in charge of the buttered toast...

Little Chief was charged with the popcorn...

And Superkid was in charge of the strawberry shakes with whip cream on top...

5 happy kids... soon to have belly aches!

Battery Friday

 I've always been a bigger fan of what I've dubbed, "Battery Friday" than "Black Friday". It's the day when we take out the old toys and find new life in them. We usually do it on the day after Thanksgiving, but we got an early jump on it this year.
