Grandma Sherrie had this idea to spend the day at Lagoon. Let's just say she didn't have to twist our arms. She brought Aunt Joan along to help with stroller patrol (and so she would have a roller coaster buddy).
The boys started out on the fighter planes. Superkid was a serious sharp shooter (you should have seen the little blond piggy-tailed 3-yr. old he was aiming at).
The little ladies took a cruise on the boats,
of course nothing but a purple and pink boat would do.
...and a little afternoon cruise.
Superkid was a good sport and escorted his little bro,
even though he had to wedge himself into the vehicle.
Cousin Izzipop Loved bumping around on Dumbo...
And what could make the ladies happier than matching faces?
Uncle Brian took one for the team and wrangled Lil' Chief on the merry-go-round...
Pops was pleased to take a spin with cousin Skeeter...
Tadpole got dumped on the bumper cars while the big kids took a spin through the House of Terror. He was not pleased and would not be satisfied until he rode both "Spook House" rides. He was really funny too. He just kept saying, "That's not real. That's not real either. Hey, all of this stuff is pretend!" As if he was disappointed not to see a 10 inch rat crawling out of the abdomen of a man on a bloody operating table. Tadpole proved to be the bravest of all, not even phased by the new Bombara roller coaster.
The best part of the night for me was the last 15 minutes. Pops took Superkid for a ride on the "Sky Ride" while Tadpole and Abizella ran their legs off to fit in as many rides as they possibly could before the park closed. A testament to a great time had by all.
