Halloween generates a lot of excitement around here. The whole month is a count down to the big day. And THE day is finally here!
Little Chief hunted his prey as a Pterodactyl
Just look at that wing-span! Incredible.
Tadpole went as my teenage heart throb, Tom Cruise from Top Gun.
He's killing it.
The ladies are going to faint, leaving the candy bowl to him!
Abizella is dancing through the streets as a Hipster Unicorn.
The costume was designed herself and comes complete with 2 different unicorn themed songs and dances.
Superkid freaked out the neighborhood with this Greek soldier costume.
Let's just say he got all the candy he wanted.
And here they are, ready to storm the neighborhood...
Time to stuff some pillowcases!
And where is Jaws at show time?!
He played the part of over-stimulated-exhausted toddler.
Nailed it.
The big kids were turned loose in the neighborhood. Pops took the smaller set out until their feet couldn't carry them any further. Then I threw them in the van to go Spook the old Andrus Mansion.
Let's just say, we got "treated" well!
We came inside to chill and pig out.
By the time we left Jaws was feeling pretty good about Halloween and even consented to wearing his Cowboy hat.
Ye-ha!
We came home and parked the kids in front of the TV for a Simpson's Tree House of Horror Marathon and candy bender.
They all out lasted me.
The next morning, a groggy Tadpole emerged and stumbled over to me rubbing his sides and moaned, "Mom, I feel like I don't have a personality today!"
We just spent the day convalescing... and munching on our favorites:
Superkid: 100 Grand
Abizella: Twix
Tadpole: Nerds
Little Chief: M&Ms
Jaws: "Buttercups" (peanut butter cups)

Abi and Sara are soul-sisters. She also created her own costume and went as her personality. She wore overalls, a clown wig, and sparkling neck tie, a pink pirate handkerchief in her pocket, her pink super hero cape, and carried a Harry Potter looking broom.
