The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

I will never get over the fact that I have to work in the summer.
I like working the rest of the year, but summer is TORTURE.
BUT at least when I get home our time isn't eaten up by homework, piano lessons and swim practice. AND it is still light and warm for hours.
We try to do THIS as much as possible.
We've got boogie boarding on the brain.
Can't you just read their minds,
"Mom! Enough pictures, we've got waves to catch already!"

Other nights we stay home and catch the frogs in our house...
And sometimes we read...
...whatever we want! Summer reading is the best.
And almost everyday, we launch 2-Liter bottle rockets into the trees.
How can the rest of the seasons compete?!
