The Rest fo the Week

We shared the week at Camp Zion with the YM this year.

Pops brought the boys up to camp and we did a switch. Jaws isn't old enough for camp, but he is still entitled to a little fun. He and I snuck off on the golf cart for a joy-ride and found the zip line!

Then Abz, Jaws and I went home.

Jaws snapped a pic of our sunset that night.

Then it was Jaws and Mom day. He wanted to make sure I wasn't too lonely in my big empty bed.

We did a lot of shopping (he scored big!).

And we treated ourselves to a little Hornstra.

Meanwhile, back at Camp Zion, the big brothers had a fantastic time!

There is almost nothing I love to do more than go for a coastal bike ride.

YW Camp

I have had the delight of attending Young Women camp the last 2 years with Abizella.

She is something special. She LOVES camp. She is ALL in.

I love seeing her in her element.

My favorite part of camp-

The morning Polar Bear Plunge.

These ladies made it every morning at 6:00 a.m. for a lake swim.

I love these ladies!

They made this week a party!

Abz teaches a survival class.

She is a girl-boss.

This is the most popular class at camp.

Fire and knives.

And explosives.

Next year I am going to reserve a fund in the camp budget to fly our Camp Survival Teacher in from the West.n We simply can't have camp without her.

Ice Cream Bucket Challenge

Pops pulled out the Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream Cookbook and has been pumping out the most delectable ice cream ever. His secret sauce is Hornstra cream.

His strawberry ice cream is my favorite.

It is crazy delicious!

Jaws challenged Pops to the Ice Cream Bucket Challenge. He remembered that Pops and Superkid had a hand-freeze-off last year and he wanted in on the "fun".

This proves that dads are "cooler" than moms.
