Weekend Work

I had to dash into work to get a few things done. T

adpole asked if he could go to. 

I told him if he could hold a pipette he was in.

He made a good use of his time- he pipetted a secret message in a 384 well plate.

Memorial Day in the Common

 I love Memorial Day weekend. Leading up to it, there are about thousands of flags lined up in the Boston Common, one for each Massachusetts service man killed in duty. It is a beautiful homage to the service man who defended freedom.

If You Didn't' Know, We Like To Bike

 Saturday morning started with a bike ride. Pops and Tadpole were at the Father-Son campout and Superkid and Abizella were at the Lambert's compound in Maine so I had to hire a babysitter. I haven't had to do that for a few years, but it was worth it!

When I got back, Jenn texted me and said that she was going for a second ride with her kiddos. I told her if they biked our way they would have BACON! And breakfast! And I told them we would meet them half way. I drive a tough bargain!

We're on our way to meet our biking buddies.

 Sister Ashley organized us into a biking brigade line-up...

 And we all enjoyed a breakfast that couldn't be beat!

Deacon's Campout

Tadpole was out of his mind excited about the Deacon's father-son campout! 

All the guys came.

All the guys set up the "boys" tent.

Pops set up his tent. The Ventilator. Lots of good memories in that tent.

We are so grateful for Bro. Coppins and his desire to build a brotherhood among these young brothers.

Kindergarten Concert

We were invited to the Kindergarten Concert, but our star was a little shy about us being there.

And then he is show time!

It was a spectacular show! And the best part is that we got to spring this guy early and take him home with us.

PRS Spring Concert

 This kid crushed it at his First Year String's concert!
