T Minus 8 hours!!!

Time to open the Christmas Jammies and get tucked into bed. 

We don't want Santa to pass us by!

Abz also decided to give Pops and I her gifts. A mug for Pops that reads, "Guns don't kill people, dads with pretty daughter do."

And she gave me a Matryoshka doll set that she hand painted herself!

They are gorgeous! Painted in my favorite color- yellow and accented by purple flowers. I adore them and my thoughtful, loving daughter!

One last photo shoot before shut-eye...

I heard a few sleigh bells so I dashed out to the family room. I didn't catch the big guy, but I was dazzled by the abundance of gifts he left!

Christmas Eve

The day was filled with Norad Santa Tracking...

A few snow flakes...

And a fancy feast with the missionaries!

Little Chief made a delicious and nutritious fruit Christmas tree for dessert- yum!

We decorated cookies for Santa (and ourselves!).

Then it was time for the talent show!

Tadpole treated us to a Transformer transformation BLIND FOLDED! He also played the piano.

Abz pulled out the Cello and played, "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" Which she transposed from the violin part.

Little Chief played, "Frosty the Snowman"

Superkid played, "The First Noel"

Jaws and I sang, "Rodlph the Red-Nosed Reindeer"

Then it was present time!

We are SO excited!

Aqua-Toads

Superkid is taking the Lifeguard training course right after Christmas. 

Just to make sure that his skills were up to snuff, we went to the pool for him to practice for the pre-test and the rest of us came to burn off some pre-Christmas energy. After Superkid practiced and Abizella swam her laps all the Toads played together. I'm not sure this will happen after Superkid becomes a cool lifeguard so I thought I better document it. I sure love my Aqua-Toads!
