Homecoming 2018

This kid happily bailed on the Homecoming rally and football game, but there was no way he was missing the dance.

Brace yourselves ladies, there is a new Freshman on campus.

Family Fall Fun at the Farm

The Toads selected family fall fun at the farm for their swim team prize of the month. 

Every month that we swim 2 days a week we reward ourselves for our diligence.

After conquering the haystack we were feeling pretty good about our chances of coming out of the corn maze alive.

These two look pretty confident about their odds.

Jaws and I decided to carry a flag to raise in case we got lost, just in case.

Jaws led the way through the maze...

It got pretty icky...

In the end, we lost a few shoes but all the Toads came out alive.

We finished the maze barefoot, but with our pride.

Next we enjoyed some pumpkin checkers...

Corn hole...

Snow angels in the corn tub...

And a few laps through the Punching Pumpkins maze...

We saddled up our cows and stampeded through the farm...

This was so fun, we took back-to-back-to-back rides while laughing our guts out and choking on dust clouds.

Then it was pumpkin picking time!

Finally, we had to try out the rivalry ice cream shop- Pleasant Meadows. 

It used to be our favorite fresh farm place. We haven't been here in a few years since Hornstra opened up their ice cream stand.

It was delicious...

We ate the whole thing...

But it was unanimous, Hornstra is still the BEST.
