Shining Sea Bikeway... In the Fog

The forecast was a bright and sunny day... 

So we loaded up the bikes and headed for the Shining Sea Bikeway. It was rainy, cold and foggy on the Cape. Didn't see that coming. It's just an hour away. But the rain cleared just as we got to the bike path, so we decided to hit the trail anyway. 

It was pretty chilly- but at least we had the trail to ourselves!

I actually like the drama of the fog.

A little picnic fun.

I love this trail, it has it all- estuaries, cranberry bogs, forest, beaches, railroad tracks, a bird refuge and bikes! It is my kind of heaven.

I'm so proud of this little biker! He did 17 miles! And I'm not going to lie. It was cold. And at one point I literally rolled over him with my bike- after he crashed on his bike. Ya, that part was bad. But we are resilient.

Conference Weekend

The rest of us thought we were off for some fun- but were grounded by a industrial bolt through the tire. 

Andie came for conference Sunday! She spent a good part of the day reviewing Tadpole's entire Transformers line-up. This is why she is our favorite.

And we had some of our usual conference fare...
