Octopus Birthday Party

We jumped full swing into the fun. 

K-Man and Tuzie had an Octopus Birthday party! 

Aunt Jenny makes the best cupcakes!

While we have half the limbs as our octopus friends, we did our best to splash, swim and kick!

What a great way to get re-acquainted with our Phrogbottom family!

Last time we saw Little B, he was smaller than Jaws! 

It was great to see Uncle B and Aunt Melissa too!

Uncle Steve came all the way from Carmel, IN to introduce us to his baby Tessa. What a sweet bathing beauty!

Abz was happy to see, that while the Phrogbottoms are light on ladies, at least our cousin's kids are girls!

And we met our newest cousin, at one month old, Baby Beaker!

And of course, everyone was happy to see how much our little Jaws has grown!

Nothing like a Phrogbottom swim party!

Right Where We Left Off

First day in Utah, we woke up literally in the arms of Grandma Sheri. 

And we picked up right where we left off, Sweet Pickles. 

All 26. 

SO GOOD TO BE BACK!

Westward Ho!

FINALLY. Time for our annual pilgrimage West. We talk about it all year long. 

We make our long trek through Logan Airport...

Crash with fatigue while we wait to board our bird.

Plug in Cartoon Network and snooze our way to ZION!  

Just like our Pioneer Forefathers.

Life is REAL GOOD.

King of the Tender Hearts

I don't remember what I did, but I will never forget this pathetic little creature and his expression of grief. After breaking his heart, he went upstairs and poured his sorrows into his art and came down and said, 

"Mom, do you see what you did to my bucket? It is empty." 

He then left me with his picture and went outside to drown his pain in the rain.

Surprise! It's Not Your Birthday!

Even though she looks surprised, we're pretty sure that her cousin clued her in! Rather than haul the birthday fun out to Utah, we decided to spread the birthday joy across a few weeks. Abizella got to open her presents early!

She even got to gorge on chocolate chip cookies, her all time favorite treat!

She took her doll on a spin on her new sweet ride!

And then it was on to the BEACH and CAROUSEL for our cousins special book club meeting! They have been saving this one for a long time, "A Pony's Wish Come True". All about a pony who lives on a carousel who escapes at night to run free on the beach. We are pretty sure this is a true story, so we took to our local carousel on the beach to see if we could find the starring pony!

We had a little fun along the way too!

Little Chief is mainly interested in the chocolate ponies. He loved stroking this guy's beautiful mane and feeding him apples.

And little Jaws took his first pony ride!

The Boogie Board Days Of Summer

Never can get too many days like this.

We all agree. 

The boogie board is the best place to be in the summer.

The Kuzinz Came Back!

We all agree, we much prefer airport pick-ups to drop-offs! 

We were super thrilled to bring our NEW ENGLAND cousins HOME, where the belong. They spent 2 weeks here and it was just like the good old days!

We had to pinch ourselves every morning we woke up with our buddies.

These two are still thick as thieves!
 First thing in the morning Little Chief would inquire, "Where is my little lady?" And whenever we had to part he would sob with a broken heart,
"I want my little lady!"

And one thing that everybody but Abizella can agree on is Dunkin' Donuts! 

But she is always good for a ride.

Nothing could make us happier than to have our summer buddies here to play.
