Now that I have crashed from my sugar-high I can get down to the business of posting the Halloween happenings of these spooky Toads...
First, we had to try a few more iterations of costumes. Tad was having a tough time leaving behind his beloved Elmo costume from last year. With good reason, he knows he is stinking cute.
Abz tried out the Raggedy Ann costume that Glama made for me to wear when I was in Kindergarten. HOW CUTE IS SHE?!
and that was before we found the BLOOMERS!
But Abz is a girl of determination. She had made made up her mind long ago to be a "Black Cat". In fact, she has been making costume accessories all month...
So here is our kitty now, ready for her kindergarten party. If you don't recognize her, don't worry, she made a name tag to wear so that her teacher would know who she was.
Superkid dressed as a magician for his 1st grade party. He got the hat and magic wand for his birthday and then came up with the idea to be a magician for Halloween. But he said to be a proper magician he would need a black cape and a tuxedo. Good thing he has an amazing Auntie Andy who can not only come up with a size 7 tuxedo in a moment's notice but also knows that Halloween is important enough to express said tuxedo 2 times to make sure it got here for the big day.
The little boys and I took a "stroller-coaster" (Superkid terminology) ride down to the school to pick the kiddos up.
And no Halloween would be complete without celebrating Cousin Boo's birthday. We have to be there every year to blow out her candles for her (right Abz?).
This year her party featured freshly spun cotton candy! Are you kidding me! We couldn't get enough...
Which is why we almost ate little Abby alive when we got to the church's Trunk-or-Treat party...
Two black cats and a skunk...
A little something for Halloween that simultaneously warms my husband's heart and chills my father's blood...
And it wouldn't be Halloween unless we ate donuts off a string...
Superkid went the Bumblebee route for Trunk-or-Treat...
Abz and Jordan looking on in horror at the poor smashed up missionary...
Little Batman (Cormack) joined us for some Trick-or-Treating...
...and our favorite little duckies (Jordan and Cora)...
Poor little Tad got left home with Mom, Chris and Little Chief. Don't feel bad, we set him up nicely with the candy bowl. Better luck next year Tad...

Love the pictures. I really wish we had been there so Lily and lil chief could have side by side in their skunk costumes. (BTW don't put it in the wash - you can look at Lily's picture to see why)
